This was actually a past event which took place on Sunday 26th May. It was my sister-in-law's birthday & my father-in-law treated us all for a dinner at medan selera nearby to Taman Dagang (opposite of Balai Polis Ampang). At first they forgot it was Kakak's birthday and I was the one who reminded them while we were hanging out at the living hall of my parent-in-law's place. They were actually just came back from Malacca for Shafiq's wedding.
My husband's family were all there at the restaurant except for his youngest brother. It was actually my first time having the food there & it was quite good especially one of the stall which make otak-otak. I ate so many of them & later I had a western food; chicken chop with brown sauce. Nyums. It was delicious.
While everyone was having shisha (which I tried but couldn't blow any smoke), I was busy eating & cleaning up hubby's food in his plate. Hubby is only opting for Suzi's corner westerns & others wont ever be able to meet his taste (duhhh....roll eyes) So I had to finish his lamb chop for him.
So this was the only photo I managed to snap while they were having dinner. Birthday girl with a funny face right there.....

Over the last weekend 4
I am so glad finally AI is overrr but I'm also sad at the same time, I mean, it had been one of the things that I looked forward to update in my blog every single week since last January. There's nothing really catch my interest right now to update in my blog so we'll just have to wait and see if something comes along.
So over this weekend, my favourite nephew had a sleepover at my place for the first time. Me & hubby took him for a small shopping spree & we bought him things. At home, he was preoccupied with my iPad, playing Angry Bird all the time. He breathe it, ate it, hugged it, like ALL THE TIME. It was very easy though ... to babysit him, I wont have to do much.
Hubby just couldn't stop asking me do I want a laptop? He knew in my heart that I really want it all along, he knew me by heart. I tried to hide my feelings, but he knew me too well. That's what I love about hubby. So yesterday evening he went off from office a bit earlier & after I dropped by at my mom's place to send Napi home, we both went to Lowyat Mall and finally after 3 hours of endless searched, we found the right purchase.
He bought me a Lenovo ideapad z400 touch which only cost him RM1499, how cheap is that, for a 14 and 1/2 inches screen. I was ecstatic! It was definitely lower than his budget & due to that, I was all up for it.
He knew I'm so happy and he kept on teasing me that this wasn't mine. I just love it so much. Now, I can write like all the time :-) This wasn't for any special occasion but I am so touched by his attention to me. Word can't describe how much I love hubby.
Today I went to Pasar Karat at Pudu, KL for the first time. Riding a bike with hubby, we went to places to buy our things and just to spend some quality time together. The pasar karat was very humid and packed, I absolutely hate it. And he bought another pet fish to keep. It's the same blue betta fish which we're having at home.Tonight we're gonna have a dinner outside.. Hmmm where to dine?

Over the last weekend 3
On Friday, I watched Angie's elimination on TV. Couldnt take it that she's gone. But hubby (who's rooting for Kree) agreed with the result, he said Angie is already too good that she can be BIG even without AI, and AI is for someone like Kree, who needs a stronger platform to excel in the music industry. When he puts it that way, I kinda accept the result now but definitely not hoping for Kree. I think Candice deserves this more than Kree. I'm still gonna watch the final next week. I know this time I'm gonna be right, Candice will win.
So over the weekend, here's what I did~
1) On Saturday I babysit my favorite nephew, Napi The Noddy. His dad came over to fetch him in the evening. We had a great time together; we played games in iPad, watched cartoons, dozed off, and just cuddled together on the couch.
2) At night, me & hubby watched "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" at FMP. The novel is one of my favorite of all time.

| He was playing the Angry Bird game. He's very good at it. |
I thought the English character of Lizbeth Salander is better than the Sweden's. But Swedish version is a bit more easier to understand than the English's.
My hubby like this movie too. Although I'd watched the Sweden's version before, I still enjoyed watching this English adaptation. Daniel Craig was HOT.
3) On Sunday, I had an awesome buffet lunch at Coffee Terrace, Genting Highlands with hubby & his family. It was about RM60++ per pax & believe me, it's awesome. They serve Japanese, Western Asians, Western, Chinese, Pastries, & so much more. I had westerns, sushi and a lot of pastries. Nyums!
At night, we celebrated my mother-in-law's belated birthday. It was a surprised celebration.
We had a great time.

Over the last weekend 2
Just some updates on the things I did over the last weekend.
1) On Saturday I was at home spending my time watching TV and just dozing off every couple of hours and just woke up to perform prayers & browsing the internet. It was another ordinary Saturday but I was finally refreshed after the consecutive busy days the past week. I finally regained my energy & redeemed back my sleep. Saturday night, there was no movie outing like usual with hubby as there was nothing in the cinema that could excite us. We are patiently waiting for Fast & Furious 6 this month (Ooh! We cant hardly wait!!). So we decided to pack our bags & sleepover at his parent's place. I was all up for it, I love spending time with them. First, we stopped by at my mom's place. Hubby didn't see my mom for almost 2 months due to his hectic working life. That night, nothing much happened. As soon as we set foot in his parent's house, there was no one around; they were all out watching the election flash mobs in KL. I had spaghetti bolognese that my father-in-law brought home from Genting (he works there). I scarfed down one whole plate by myself while hubby was watching the TV. And afterwards, I laid on the couch like a full snake.
2) Sunday morning was the election day. We were up and about early in the morning & went out to have breakfast with the family. Then we went to the election center & performed our responsibility as Malaysians. The process was very fast & with a blink of an eye, we were back home again & scattered in the living room doing our own thing. We went out & had a late lunch that day in Tesco store and spent time together with the whole family doing some grocery shopping. My father-in-law planned to cook Chicken Curry that night. Nyums! It turned out to be delicious. Finally at 8pm we waited in front of the TV for the election result and guess what? It finally was out about 12 in the midnight and I was feeling all dizzy and tired. We all went straight to bed.
So those were all the things I did over the past weekend. A happy weekend with family.
P/S: Feels like I'm writing an essay for the school. Ha Ha...

Over the last weekend
Missed to update some of the activities that I did over the last weekend. Time flies so fast, & the things that I intended to update earlier had passed like a rocket, & only today I have the chance to sit down & dance my fingers on the keyboard.
So here are the little updates on the past:-
1) On Saturday, I went to Surfine Hitech; my driving school to have the final driving lesson with my driving teacher before the final test by JPJ the following Tuesday. It went quite bad, the teacher wasn't really impress with my driving & I couldnt help feeling sad but hubby cheered me up with a movie later that night; Ironman 3. The movie was awesome (apart from picturing muslim/islam as terrorist), but hubby wasnt really impress with the ending, he thought the ironman's girlfriend shouldnt be the one who saved him at the end. I thought it didnt make any difference whatsoever.
2) On Sunday, me & hubby went to Pusat Akuatik Bukit Jalil to swim and his family came afterwards. They were late, but finally we all gathered and hanged out, had dinner & I was very happy.
3) On Tuesday, I had the final test with JPJ, and........... I excelled in that test! The marks was 19 over 20. During the road test, the JPJ officer was fast asleep and snoring like an elephant. I was glad, luck was on my side. But! If only he could see how expert I was that day, haha.. Finally I got my driving license! I am so proud of myself and this was what I posted in my FB during that day:-
"Looking back, I took almost 2 years to finally obtain a valid license. It's all becos of the urged given by d beloved man of my life. More often than not, I don't really give much attention to adhere with the laws. He taught me so much, each loving day. Thanks sayang #gratefulwife"
That's all for now. Write some other time, hopefully tomorrow for the American Idol updates.

A must watch! -Tears welling in my eyes...
One of the must-see video of all time. This was from 'Shadow Dancers' when they performed in 'Britain Got Talent' reality show.
Being me, I shed tears, alright.
Who wouldn't? The message of this shadow dancing was moving. I couldn't keep myself from being emotional with it. It was brilliant. I came across this video on my friend's wall in Facebook. Let me know what you guys think.

My wishlist - Butik Haleema (Klang), House of Muslimah Swimsuit
One of the thing that falls into my personal wishlist utk tahun ni is to buy a muslimah swimsuit. Like my entry last time, I dah pernah mention about this tapi sampai skrg masih tak berpeluang nak beli.
Beli nya tak beli-beli lagi, tapi dok mencarinya setiap hari. Hehehe... In the process of looking for the right muslimah swimming apparel, I bumped into a blog called 'House of Muslimah Swimsuit' and lately ni asek membelek je blog dia & facebook page dia.
The last time I went surveying at shopping malls was at Jusco Alpha Angel @ Wangsa Maju and oh gosh! Swimsuits tu takde brand pun & sangat nipis macam boleh koyak but the price? RM150, without tudung or cap.
But at Butik Haleema, bukan saja coraknya cantik2 dan pelbagai choices, but the apparels are also coming together with tudung and caps, so mana lebih murah?;-)
One of these days I gotta make sure to get myself one from Butik Haleema. My family-in-law went to their shop at Klang & they highly recommended it to me. My mother-in-law bought hers at Sogo which cost her almost RM300 but she recommended Butik Haleema to me. I just can't wait!
Rambang mata tengok swimsuits di web page mereka (hope get to visit the shop soon!).

Ni pun sweet :-)
Kalau u all berminat sila lah tengok2 di blogspot mereka & facebook page mereka ya! Mmg jauh kat Klang sana... Tapi encik suami wajib bawa saya ke sana someday! Umph! :-D
Haleema, here I come..........(at least I hope so :-P )

Baju renang muslimah
Lately, my family-in-laws suka pergi berenang & minat yang dah lama terkubur ni timbul semula. Previously masa diaorang pergi Pusat Akuatik Negara, Bukit Jalil, cuma my husband and his siblings jer mandi, me and my mother-in-law x mandi pun sbb takde baju renang. We both just sat at the bench and watched them enviously.
And guess what? she just recently bought a muslimah swimsuit for herself & that left me with none & i'm determine to get myself one too. X best lah nanti takde saper nk teman I duduk kat bench sbb mother-in-law pun dah start boleh mandi after this.
Apart from just being another one of aktiviti beriadah, swimming is also a good sport & exercise, so I berazam nak beli 1 swimsuit for myself, boleh jugak maintain kesihatan badan selain joining them, betul x? But up to this moment I still dont have time to buy one for myself.
Dkt market mmg byk muslimah swimsuits, but the question is, do they really cover your aurat? Look at this photos:
As a muslim women, ianya adalah menjadi kewajipan kita utk tutup aurat properly. So for me, I would opt for something like this:
Call me a closed-minded person, but I am happy with my thoughts. 'Cos to me, biar kita modest di depan Allah swt. Nak buat apa dengar cakap orang? Gilakan fesyen, dosa kita dapat. His reward is the one we should be aiming for the most. Syukur Alhamdulillah, my husband lah yang selalu encourage me utk tutup aurat properly & dress modestly. So, in terms of pencarian baju renang pun kena lah cari yang terbaik untuk kita muslimah kan kawan2? :-) InshaAllah...
These were an articles from Majalah MIDI & let's read them! :-) in the mean time, pls pray I'll get my muslimah swimming suits soon!

To me, both of these clothing do not cover the aurat properly. Apart from being too tight, her body shape & chest obviously shows. Baju mcm ni x layak pun dipanggil muslimah swimsuits. Baju yang ketat, kalau basah lagi lah nampak sexy. The designers & tukang jual pun tak fikir betul2 sebelum nak market baju2 ni.. Mmmm..

New 'bundle of joy' in my family
Yesterday night just after work, my family and I went straight to Malacca to visit the new born angel in our family, my eldest brother's son- Muhammad Ali Bin Faizal.
Alhamdulillah, my sister-in-law had safely gave birth to her second son yesterday after the Asar prayer which was around 5pm at Hospital Besar Melaka. He was born on 7th February 2013, means he will be celebrating his birthday every year on the same month as his Aunty Tasha ;-)
I was at the office when I received the news from my brother. The second I heard the news, I shed tears and felt really grateful for the event. Earlier that day, I was very worried of their conditions after knowing from my brother that his wife had been suffering from a contraction since yesterday morning while they were still at home. The due date was supposed to be early of March, but it turned out a month earlier than that. I couldn't help but to feel worried and anxious.
Minutes after the SMS, I called my husband and we planned to visit them that night and return back to KL on the same day. It was a last-minute plan, so I called my mom and asked her to get ready. Of course, my little sister was there too.
We began the journey at 9pm-we need to check the condition of my car & everything, and reached there by 12am. I felt so tired, it seemed like a very long journey as we were a bit lost & couldn't find Pusat Bandar Melaka.
At the hospital, the security guard did not allow us to visit the patient easily. We need to take turns to see the mother & the baby but sadly for my husband, he couldn't join in. Only ladies are allowed to visit during the late hours - They don't allowed late visitors actually but our case was an exception- we came all the way from KL. Alhamdulillah for that.
So my husband waited at the waiting area with my nephew Hanaffie. He played his uncle's iPad and was so engrossed with it, he didn't even want to kiss his favorite Aunty:-( Now uncle Haikal has become his favorite Uncle. He was with my husband all the time!
Eventually I managed to visit my nephew. Look at him, he's gorgeous.... I love him so much already ;-)
p/s: I just cant wait to have my own baby!! Hehehe...

Welcoming my second nephew into this world
Today my sister-in-law, Kak Liza is already admitted in the labor room & my eldest brother had just informed me that the cervix is by now opening up to 5 cm. I think it will be fully dilated by today and soon my new nephew will be born into this world! Oh my god... I just can't wait to see him, and I am so excited for this news!
But at the same time I am very scared.. I hope my sister will not be suffering much on her contraction & I pray everything will goes smoothly. Omg I am so thrilled and worried at the same time!
My husband and I, we are planning to visit them in Malacca this upcoming Monday. I am bringing mom and little sister too! Please pray for them guys. Hope Allah will protect the baby and the mom, Amin..

My first entry
![]() |
| At mom's place. Who snapped this photo? My beloved fiance, yes. |
Writing a novel was my old dream that never came true. I believe you can't just go ahead and write whatever you want in a novel, as one requires complete knowledge to do that and I don't possess that kind of skills. With busy life all this while I never had the chance to study on writing, so that dream had seems like a faraway dream buried in a grave :-D So owning a blog is the answer to my passion of writing.
So where do I begin? Hurmm... I don't really have anything exciting yet to write about now. Apart from getting married in approximately a month's time, I guess nothing else could be count as exciting. Oh yeah!! I could write everything about my marriage preparations! How's that? ;-) I would like to share with you about my experiences during this journey of relationship and preparations of my wedding day. Check out my next entry <3
