American Idol 2013 - "Personal Taste" & "One Hit Wonder" and the Elimination result

I'm late in updating the news! It's been 4 days since the last show, but I'm only free to write about it today. Too bad.. I believe all of u has seen the show & aware of the result.

But to those of u who still haven't got a clue, let's read my blog! :-)

On the performance night, as usual there were 2 songs chosen by each contestants and the theme were personal taste (choose any song on their own) & one hit wonder (hit songs).

Ok, I was fully satisfied with the themes & I expected that night I would be hearing familiar songs, which means 'not a boring night' and yes, I did and I was so glad.

Amber started off the night by singing 'The Power of Love' by Celine Dion & I thought that was a brilliant choice of song. I felt like the song was tailored-made for her. I am so proud of this girl, unlike other contestants (especially Kree), she's the only person showing more & more progress each week. I thought this performance was a diva-like performance & definitely deserves all the good comments received from the judges.

Candice sang Drake’s “Find Your Love” and then the Bee Gee’s “Emotions.” To be frank with u, I didn't watch the Drake's performance, and while she sang "Emotions", I was in the shower, but I heard her. She was awesome (like always) but it didn't really trigger my excitement button.

Before I begin to mention about Kree, first of all sorry to all Kree's fan. I love her voice so much and she is such a natural-born singer,
but I don't agree if she wins. After idol, I bet she will make millions of money selling off her amazing records and albums. But to win idol, I don't know, I don't think she's the one. Every week she sticks to her country songs & I can't help feeling so boring. Surprisingly, despite my point of view, she was in the top 2. I totally agree with Nicki Minaj when she said that Kree's spark is fading a bit. Kree is just doing the thing she normally does & there's nothing extra about her.

My favourite Angie Miller really wowed me and all the judges tonight. She sang Jessie J's song "Who you are" with her piano & Julie London's "Cry me a river" & both performances were awesome. She has the star quality I'm looking for & I strongly believe she's the one to win.

Jessie J's "Who you are". Like Nicki said, she heard many renditions of this song but Angie's was phenomenal.

But what I got to shout out and give my BIG mention here was the performance of Angie & Candice, singing a song from Rihanna, "Stay". I was totally stunned by it. Both were amazing, and I thought it was already the finals. It was the 'grammy award' performance. I was totally blown away with both of them (and I love the way Angie sang, she rocks right there).

Brilliant, wasn't it? ;-)

The result?

All 4 girls remain in their position. Yeah, there is no elimination. Hurrah! At this point, I hate to see anyone goes.

The Millionaire Matchmaker

This reality TV show is one of me & my hubby's favorite. We will try as much as we can to watch the TV together after dinner, you know, just to catch up and everything. After an hectic day in office, spending a bit of a quality time with hubs is such a stress-relief. Hitting the start button at the remote and to find the show is on, is a bonus! We just love it so much!

In Malaysia, the show is on Astro channel beTV (720). It's actually a dating service reality show where the matchmaker Patti Stanger matches single millionaire people with compatible dates. I don't think I am capable of catching your interest to watch this show the way I describe into words. But trust me when I said it's an exciting and enjoyable watch!

Patti is a serious person who doesn't hide anything and speak honestly without caring about people's feeling whatsoever. Once, I watched the episode where she cursed the millionaire after he blamed her for not giving him a good date. She said the 'F' word, can you believe it? I laughed hysterically with hubby. And another time, I watched an episode, she asked a date to take out her wig & go get a hair extensions & come back. Yes, she doesn't care. I read somewhere, she said she is not paid to hide her feelings. Indeed she proves it.

I watched the episode where she was the one who looked out for a compatible date for herself with the help of her co-workers. First, they picked all the right millionaires & presented them to Patti. Patti interviewed them one by one & chilled out with them in the studio with drinks and all. Then she got to pick a candidate while another 1 was picked by her co-workers. The one she picked was so handsome I couldn't stop complementing him to my hubby. The other person was very serious & at the 1st date asked Patti if he could kiss her. And due to that, Patti rejected him.

The second one was a bonus and a complete package. At the end of the episode, Patti said they are going for a second date but I'm not sure what happens after that.

I don't know which episode is this and I haven't watch it yet. Let's watch it together now! :-) Enjoy!

A must watch! -Tears welling in my eyes...

One of the must-see video of all time. This was from 'Shadow Dancers' when they performed in 'Britain Got Talent' reality show.

Being me, I shed tears, alright.

Who wouldn't? The message of this shadow dancing was moving. I couldn't keep myself from being emotional with it. It was brilliant. I came across this video on my friend's wall in Facebook. Let me know what you guys think.

Hadramawt Restaurant Part 2

So yesterday evening I was all excited to cook 'Ikan Siakap 3 rasa' for hubby that I even post it in my Facebook status. But unfortunately the excited wife went back home after work yesterday & found out that there was no water supply in the neighborhood. Damn!

I knew right away, there was no hope for cooking. So, what this brilliant wife did was SMS to her hubby & asked him to bring her out for a dinner. And the generous hubby came up with an idea, 'a second episode of Hadramawt'.

Being a food lover person, you guess what was my reaction to that? Yes, I jumped up and down and did the hula dancing in my living room.

So, this time we didn't want to make another mistake of end up in a wrong Hadramawt restaurant. As you all know, there are a few Hadramawt restaurants in KL & the last time we went there was at the 'Jalan Bukit Bintang' outlet, which was not as good as the one we dined in yesterday.

It was located in Jalan Ampang, next to Risda building, opposite of Lorenzo. This was the one hubby went to with his colleagues and the first time he tasted and fell in love with Hadramawt food. And again I have to mention, they are way tastier than the previous one.

The front view of the restaurant.
Someone was so hungry he left his wife behind.

I don't know what's with that face. Maybe the expression that he's gonna get bankrupt having an eating machine as a wife.
This proves me right.
This is opposite of Lorenzo
This is the view of the top floor
This time, the people sitting in front of us were well behaved and we had a peace dinner.
Never to miss! The Arabian mint tea
Because his wife is an eating machine, she forgot to snap the photos before scarfing down the food. And this was the best she could get before everything cleans. The wife had a Lamb Kebab plate (again) and the hubby had a Lamb Haneeth (Lamb with rice, again).

Total bill was RM71.90, and giving a glance at my hubby, I smiled triumphantly. (Hubby, I will give you a treat next time!)

The tiniest person I am obsessed with!

During the year 2009 (18th September to be exact), my brother's eldest child was born into this world and he has become my favourite person in this planet earth ever since, apart from my hubby and my family, of course.

You can say that I am obsess with this little 'munchkins' and I find joy writing about him. I take this opportunity to mention him in my blog so that when he's big enough to understand everything, he would be happy to read about himself here, and to know that his Auntie loves him so much (Awhh.. Sweet).

This tiny person I love so much is named Muhammad Hanaffie Bin Faizal but famously known in the family as "Napi" and as auntie calls him, "Napi the Noddy". Do you know 'Noddy' cartoon character? The name is very close to my nephew's name & that's why I call him that :-D

This is the famous Noddy, with the blue dwarf's hat and a red shirt.  I used to watch this cartoon programme while breakfast before I went to work, yes, I was already a grown up at that time but I still enjoy it, especially the theme song :-)
This is my adorable nephew, having his macdonald's burger with his mummy and daddy.
Napi the Spongebob Squarepants
My precious Napi loves Spiderman so much that his mom bought this costume for him. I put on the Spiderman's  mask and told him to make a face of a super-hero. And that was the best he could do.
I took this picture of him and I thought he looked like Luffy from 'One Piece', the manga character from Japan or in malay adaptation famously known as 'Budak Getah'.
With his hat and all. Hahahaha....
This was him playing flying 'Spiderman' on his Auntie's legs. Lucky me he's not that heavy >.<
This was him wearing his monster sweatshirt
Message from Napi to Auntie's blog readers: "Thanks for reading about me! Muahhh! Kisses for all!!"

P/S: I cant wait for my own production! Would it be as cute as Napi? Well, I hope so! Hahaha...

My weekend - Traditional massage with Indonesian 'bibik'

Today as planned since earlier of the month, I treated myself and mom for a traditional massage with this 1 Indonesian 'bibik', who is also the same person massaged me during after my miscarriage.

As u all know, bibik is a named given to Indonesian female who works as a nanny. She insisted to be called bibik, so me and my mom called her by that name. Bibik is very good in traditional massage, a talent which she inherited from her mother and late grandmother. People who suffered from strokes & other disabilities had improve a lot after seeking for bibik's treatment. Yes, she is that good.

I still remember I could barely walk after the miscarriage episode but was instantly back to my normal state after getting 3 treatments from bibik. And because of that, I chose to seek for her treatment anytime I am in need. I love the way she massages, becos she doesnt go for the whole body like she has no clue. She really knows what she's doing. She looks for veins and nerves and massages those areas only.

My mom kept complaining to me how she suffered from muscle pains and difficulty to walk properly. I instantly promised her to bring her for the treatment and Alhamdulillah, this morning I had fulfilled my niat (and she was very happy with it, I promised her to bring her again for more treatment the following months).

Bibik massaged mom more than an hour although her payment was just for an hour service. She is very generous. After mom finished with her treatment, finally it was my turn. Yes, I had a treatment too :-)

After my miscarriage, I found out that my womb was not properly placed at the right spot. It was wrongly placed at the right-side of my abdomen, and bibik said that was why I had the miscarriage. According to her,   this happened since I was a kid.

Prior to the treatments I got from bibik, my womb has finally placed properly (she massaged the uterus area, known as 'sangkak' in malay) but lately, I had the feeling that my womb had once again fell at the right-side of my abdomen due to the light pains which I felt everyday at that area. And I was right, today bibik told me it had fell again to the wrong place (maybe due to heavy duty work) and she massaged and repaired it back to its place. Now it's back to normal and any pains I endured has stopped.

Bibik adviced me to use a corset, a kind of cloth which women wears on their abdomen or body area in order to tighten the area (to look confident and to hide fats). She said, that way, my womb will stay in place and eventually stay in the right place forever. I was wondering where to get those corset when bibik offered me her corset which she used once upon a time. She was very kind enough not accepting any money for that. I was very grateful.

Later this afternoon me and my husband went to Tesco store to buy the corset and it costed me only RM12, how cheap is that. I am having one (which the bibik gave me) and another one which I bought today, and planned to buy some more next month.
Obviously this is not me :-P But this is 1 type of a corset
Bibik convinced me that I am now as healthy as a horse. Before saying goodbye to bibik in front of her doorsteps, she said, "You are good to go! And now, start to put efforts to conceive! You know, make babies!!" ;-)

Wish me luck!xoxo

The great Fantasia from American Idol

Hey, I thought I should mention about Fantasia's performance during the result night of top 5 elimination. Watching the show's playback this morning, I had ample of time to pay attention to the whole thing after my hubby went to work (yes, he's working on Sat, too bad) and I was so intense with Fantasia's performance, I thought why didn't I notice her last night!

Her performance was awesome, she was amazing, it was hands down a powerful show, and I thought she deserves everything she has now.

Watching her makes me thought, 'another diva was born' & believe it or not, I never really knew her before that night. I knew she was from American Idol but that's just that, I never really heard any of her songs, or I might have but didn't realise it was hers. I tell you, she was amazing, and that night show, reminded me of the show Jessica Sanchez put on with Jennifer Holiday, 'and I'm telling you I'm not going'. Yes, Fantasia is as good as Jennifer Holiday, she was amazing and powerful vocally, just like Jennifer Holiday is.

Fantasia received standing ovations from all the judges, no questioned on that. I was a bit teary-eyed and filled with emotion when I watched the way she sang the song, and the way her jaw was shaking at the end of the song. It was phenomenal. All the best to you Fantasia!

American Idol 2013 - top 5 elimination

Last night the show was on in Star World channel and I got to watch just a bit of this result show. Tak dapat tengok the whole show sebab I was occupied with something else.

This week Janelle was the one eliminated. I wasn't surprised with that, as everyone knows that all the other top 4 contestants are very much stronger contenders than Janelle is. So in a way, I thought that this was really predictable.

But what surprised me was Kree being in the bottom 2. I had a chat with my mom later (my mom pun sangat suka AI & ikut this show too) and she said she wasn't surprised at all on the Kree part bcuz Kree is a country singer & nowadays people are more into modern genres. I couldn't agree more.

This proves that anybody could be in the bottom 2. Now it's down to top 4 contestants; Angie, Candice, Amber & Kree. If Kree had been in the bottom 2, I believe Angie has a bit more chance to win this after all. Bcuz I thought the show has planned for Kree to win. Let's see what happens at the end. I'm quite happy with the result this week, but being a soft-hearted person (puke) I still cried when Janelle goes.

American Idol 2013 - Divas & Song from the year you were born

I watched the show on Thursday night but updated it in my blog today, which is delayed, I know. I wanted to update it earlier but I wasn't in the mood for writing (due to my monthly period-pains,urgh) so I think u all know by now who's going out from the top 5 contestants this week.

But I'm not gonna mention it here, as this entry is an update of the performance's night. For the result, I'm gonna write it in a separate entry (so don't forget to catch my second entry :-D)

Follow the lead from the last week's performance show, there were also 2 themes for this week; 'Divas' & 'Song from the year you were born'. The 1st theme (Diva), I thought it was a cool theme & I predicted it wont be boring, given the fact that a person who deserves the 'Diva' title surely owns a famous production. So it wont be as boring as the old themes they always have every week.

And yes, I predicted right. It wasn't boring at all! I surprised myself by staying glued in front of the tv throughout the show.

Just like all my updates previously,I'm not gonna go through each contestants. I'm just gonna write about my favourites & about performances which excite me the most.

My favourite Angie sang a song from Beyonce, 'Halo' during her 1st performance. As we all know, Beyonce is such a great singer & I was quite sceptical when Angie chose her song but Angie did it justice. She always chose the right song, kudos to the amazing girl. She received standing ovations from the judges. In the second performance, she sang a song from The Pretenders, 'I'll stand by you' and dedicate it to her home, Boston. I got to shout out for this 2nd performance, cos it was so great and again, it reminded me of the night when she sang her own song 'You set me free'. Angie is so graceful in front of her piano, and I was teary-eyed throughout the performance. Again, she got standing ovations from the judges. Seriously, I strongly believe she will be the winner this season.
Angie Miller performs "Halo" by Beyonce Knowles

Angie Miller performs "I'll Stand By You" by The Pretenders

Candice, Kree & Janelle gave some powerful performances this week but they didn't really trigger my excitement button although they were all very awesome that night. Candice sang a song from Mariah Carey & the late Whitney Houstan, 'Miracle',ahhh, my favourite, my very favourite, childhood song. Again, I couldn't help but to be sceptical about it, cos to me, I believe (and I know most people do, too) there are no single person in this planet earth that could sing any songs own by this 2 Divas as much powerful as the way they sang. But I was quite satisfied with Candice's performance & she also deserves a spot there after tonight ( and u all know how powerful she was the week before).

Amber also sang a song from Mariah Carey, 'without you' but there were some slight difference she made from the original song which I didn't like and I couldn't help but to feel the same way like Nicki and Randy did about Amber's performance. Mariah Carey was in my head the whole time & I kept comparing Amber with the Diva. Of course no one could be at the same level with Mariah and I felt a bit of a disappointment cos I thought Amber's interpretations of that song was wrong. However, her vocal is so powerful, hands down.

Now it will be down to top 4. And the person going home this week is the person I predicted to go. Check out my next entry.

My wishlist - Butik Haleema (Klang), House of Muslimah Swimsuit

One of the thing that falls into my personal wishlist utk tahun ni is to buy a muslimah swimsuit. Like my entry last time, I dah pernah mention about this tapi sampai skrg masih tak berpeluang nak beli.

Beli nya tak beli-beli lagi, tapi dok mencarinya setiap hari. Hehehe... In the process of looking for the right muslimah swimming apparel, I bumped into a blog called 'House of Muslimah Swimsuit' and lately ni asek membelek je blog dia & facebook page dia.

The last time I went surveying at shopping malls was at Jusco Alpha Angel @ Wangsa Maju and oh gosh! Swimsuits tu takde brand pun & sangat nipis macam boleh koyak but the price? RM150, without tudung or cap.

But at Butik Haleema, bukan saja coraknya cantik2 dan pelbagai choices, but the apparels are also coming together with tudung and caps, so mana lebih murah?;-)

One of these days I gotta make sure to get myself one from Butik Haleema. My family-in-law went to their shop at Klang & they highly recommended it to me. My mother-in-law bought hers at Sogo which cost her almost RM300 but she recommended Butik Haleema to me. I just can't wait!

Rambang mata tengok swimsuits di web page mereka (hope get to visit the shop soon!).

This is one of my favourite, and if I were to wear it, i'm going to wear it like the first picture from the left ^_^ Baru lah muslimah sejati, cewah!
 Ni pun sweet :-)
Kalau u all berminat sila lah tengok2 di blogspot mereka & facebook page mereka ya! Mmg jauh kat Klang sana... Tapi encik suami wajib bawa saya ke sana someday! Umph! :-D

Haleema, here I come..........(at least I hope so :-P )

"Movie yang dah basi tapi nak review jugak!" ~ ABDUCTION (2011 film)

Hari ni I nak update pasal movie yang berjudul "Abduction". Yes, mmg movie yang telah lama basi (released tahun 2011 and now dah 2013, dah jadi tempoyak basi dah) but bapak best!

I saw this movie twice at Astro channel Fox Movies Premium and disebabkan ianya terlalu best, I gotta mention about it in my blog.

Kenapa laaa tak tengok since it was first out in cinema? Kalau best yang tahap two thumbs up dan two toe fingers up, mmg dah lama tengok!

So before membebel benda lain, I will give a light intro on this movie just to create your interest (macam lah boleh).

Movie ni is about seorang budak lelaki (Taylor Lautner a.k.a Jacob twilight, si serigala macho) yang discover bahawa ibu bapa yang menjaga dan membesarkan nya selama ini bukanlah ibu bapa nya yang sebenar, setelah dia menjumpai gambarnya semasa kanak-kanak di sebuah laman web "missing persons" sewaktu dia sedang membuat assignment utk sekolah nya.

Dengan perasaan yang sangat shocked & takut, si Taylor ni pergilah contact the web site customer service & chat with the person online. So bila Taylor contacted them, they are able to trace Taylor's location & cepat2 hantar orang2 mereka to get Taylor.

Taylor kemudian keluar dari biliknya apabila terdengar bunyi bising & sangat terperanjat bila melihat ibu angkatnya ditikam oleh orang jahat di dalam rumah. He realized that they are already here & that they are coming for him. Si Taylor ni pun cepat2 lah melarikan diri & bermula lah 1 adventure yang sangat 'suspen' dan 'thrilling'. Tapi endingnya jenis yang love/hate ending- means ada bad ones and ada happy ones.

You all wajib tengok cerita ni & confirm x akan kecewa. It is full of suspense & for those who favor thriller movies, mmg yang ni salah satu yang best sangat.

Diantara castings dalam filem ni:-

Kalau I cerita panjang2 nanti, dah tak best lah you all nak tengok cerita ni kan? So pergi lah speedy video ke, download ke, whatever, and tengok sendiri ok! Happy watching!!! ^_^

American Idol 2013 - Top 6 Elimination

I took quite some time to update on this :-P As most people know, the result always delay in Malaysia and we got to watch the result show on Fridays every week while in US people got to watch it on Thursdays. But being an IT savvy person(jangan marah), I got to know the result in advance before it was aired on Friday. What's the use of google, right? Ehehe... (IT Savvy lah sangat)

So hari Jumaat at office I pun google about the result and came to know that Lazaro Arbos was the one eliminated from the top 6, and now the top 5 semuanya perempuan, Kree, Candice, Angie, Amber & Janelle. How cool is that? Dah lama sangat perempuan tak ambil takhta sebagai winner of AI. Macam semua orang tahu, AI dah bertahun2 previously lelaki yang menang.  This time around, girls are showing their claws. GIRL POWER!

So back to Mr. Arbos. Masa dapat tahu result tu I couldn't help but to feel relief. I thought, "finally!!!" If you are my blog readers, mesti you all pun tahu I never fancy Lazaro. Tapi I never thought that his elimination will leave me crying and sobbing like nobody's business (I have a soft heart after all, puke!)

Mmg seriously, menangis 'gila' tengok dia keluar. Sedih sbb he's a very special person. But we have to admit, he is not strong enough to compete with the girls. Takpe lah, banyak orang yang best2 dah lama terkeluar pun, yang lagi best dari Lazaro pun ada (Burnell, Devin & Curtis) tapi we still managed to deal with it.

So skrg it's down to top 5. Amber was also in bottom 2 that night. Tapi I yakin it's not her turn to be eliminated this week. However, I have a strong feeling that she won't be in the final top 2 or 3, sebab Kree, Angie & Candice got a lot of voters and have never been in the bottom line ups while Amber has been there a couple of times. I predicted Janelle will be going home this week. We'll see what the America thinks.

American Idol 2013 - "A song from Burt Bacharach/Hal David" & "A song I wish I had written"

The themes for tonight were clearly written in my post title - 'A song from Burt Bacharach/Hal David' (Ok, tak pernah dengar those names, sorry!) & 'A song I wish I had written' (Yes, 2 performances each).

Honestly, I mmg x pernah dgr those 2 names. Maybe dekat Malaysia ni tak banyak pendedahan pada nama diaorang (or maybe I sendiri yang clueless). But I had the initiative to google it just now, and came to know that Burt is actually a composer & David is his lyrics writer. Together, they had both produce many hit songs all over the world.

So malam ni the first performance I tengok was from Amber, who sang 'Say a little prayer', lagu yang pernah jadi OST movie 'my best friend wedding' in year 1997 (I used to love this song so much when I was a kid). Vocal dia? Mmg mantap. The judges puji dia kaw-kaw malam ni especially Nicki Minaj.  Her 2nd performance was amazing as well. She wished she had written 'Love on top' by Beyonce & in that song, she was energetic & having fun. I admit she's an amazing singer but she's not the person I love the most in this competition (who cares what I love anyway?Hee..:D )

Lazaro malam ni dikritik teruk oleh judges. He chose to sing 'Close to you' which is a slow song & of course kalau nyanyi slow songs, vocal control kena mantap. But he remained in his low keys and it was very flat. Dah lama Lazaro patut keluar, sebab takde variety & improvement from him. Although he redeemed himself in his 2nd performance singing 'Angels' by Robbie Williams,  it wasn't strong enough to compete with the other girls. Peserta wanita tahun ni semuanya hebat2 belaka, and of course Lazaro akan ketinggalan bila dia sentiasa inconsistent.

Performances from Kree & Janelle sangat bagus tonight but I wont elaborate much on that, you guys know I hate country songs and I'm not into country singers. But hands down, Kree is awesome & such a natural born singer.

Angie's performances - I was holding back tears during her 2nd performance. It was beautiful. First song, she sang an unfamiliar song (and I'm not gonna elaborate on that) but her second one (which was also unfamiliar to me) sangat mantap. She again played her piano while singing and I was feeling the same impact I felt during her performance singing her own song 'You set me free'. It was those night again, the same feeling. It was pure beauty & a moment for her. And the prop on stage - was truly awesome, I mean the backdrop visual and all. There were white pigeons (if I'm not mistaken) scattered and flying in the backdrop visual while she was singing and Keith too, gave his praise on that part. Kudos to the producer. Angie is back again, this is the real Angie I love.

Watch the backdrop visual. Awesome..

I got to mention CANDICE CLOVER. She is amazing, and after tonight, I am also rooting for her. She is the best performer of the night, and Randy even said "The best performance of all singing competition history". Wow, how good is that? The 2nd song (1st song you need to google, sorry!)
was 'Love Song' by The Cure. Omg, this song sounded familiar to me & after googling it, I realized it was the song from the movie 50 First Dates. No wonder it was so familiar! Mmg terbaik lah this performance.

That creepy sound at 1:10 really scared me to death! What was that? Everybody talks about it in Youtube. Freaks me out big time.

This week I predict Lazaro will go out and if he doesn't, he will continue to be humiliated by the judges' critique & I pity him so much on that. Let's just wait and see.

Hadramawt Palace at Jalan Bukit Bintang (Arabian Food Terbaikk!!)

Haiyo! Semalam ada dinner date dengan hubby dekat Hadramawt Palace, Jalan Bukit Bintang. Sangat sedap okay! They serve 100% Arabian food here, 2 thumbs up! Alhamdulillah ada rezeki nak makan luar. Asek2 masak kat rumah je kan? ;-)

Saje lah nak share ngan kawan2 mana tahu you all nak try.

So gambar restoren tu dari luar:-

Ni lah restoren tu. Terletak just berdepan dengan Prince Court Hospital, Jalan Bukit Bintang. You all boleh pergi ke website nya di "http://www.hadramawtpalace.com/" dan find out all the infos. Kalau takut sesat, view the map here. Actually me & Hubby pun sesat semalam, we wanted to go here but ended up in Al-Rawsha restaurant nearby to Desa Pandan road towards Time Square. Penat patah balik, hehehehe...

This was hubby's menu, which is called "Lamb Kabsa". Rasa nasi nya sangat sedap (bentuk nya panjang2, I guess ni lah dipanggil nasi bukhari, though Im not too sure) tapi lamb jenis yang hubby pilih ni kurang sikit sbb it's boiled & I x suka boiled. Untuk menu hubby harga nya around RM20+. My choice was "Lamb Mandy" - iaitu nasi & lamb juga but it's grilled - Kambing Bakar. Nyums... Dan harga lebih kurang sama dengan menu hubby. Marks? 7 Out of 10! For drinks, hubby ordered arab tea, while I had a mango juice. Harga tak pasti untuk tea but my mango juice RM8. Dua2 terbaik but its tea?Beyond marvelous. Ada rasa pudina sikit, hmmm, refreshing ;-) (Sorry, Im pathetic in describing food, u all kena pergi rasa sendiri ya!)
Yang ni Lamb Kebab. Kami mmg gila kambing pada malam tu. Hahaha... This one is superb, 10 out of 10 Marks = Full Marks ler!!! :D Makan dengan roti macam roti canai but way delicious and big. Kalau pergi lagi I will order this one again. Superb. Harga tak ingat, sorry kawan2. Sedap sgt tak amek port dah pasal harga :-P
The inside of the restaurant, and this is the view from our table. Family yang duduk depan kitaorang ni seriously bising. Macam zoo dah dibuatnya :-P Tak aman orang nak makan!! Hmmm...
And this is the face of a happy wife ^______^

"Where women have no doctor";- Info terbaik 'mesti baca' untuk kaum wanita!

Read in PDF/Online:- http://en.hesperian.org/hhg/Where_Women_Have_No_Doctor

Today as I was googling on one of my 'stuffs'- which is a duty I do everyday (biasa lah, cari knowledge itu-ini), I stumbled upon a site or better known as a 'Body' @ Organization which creates a series of books containing informative knowledge pertaining to human's health care & I couldn't resist to share such a wonderful thing to my readers. The best part is, these books can be downloaded & read straight-away from your computer.

Each of the book's title has its own focus, for example the one which I stumbled upon was titled "Where women have no doctor" - clearly tells us it's all about women's health care. Ada juga a title for dental care, men's health care & a few others. Maybe ramai yang dah tahu tentang site @ buku2 ni but unfortunately for me, I just discovered it today ;-) Tapi like the wise man says, 'better late than never', means in my case, 'lebih baik tahu sekarang daripada tak tahu langsung'. Heh.. Heh..

So, anyway.. I was actually googling and trying to find some infos about pelvic and uterus, and the stuffs related to our reproductive system.. tiba2 jumpa this site & the opening words in this "Where women have no doctor" book sgt2 menarik perhatian I & I kept on reading till I felt some sort like an attachment to this book.

Opening ayat tu macam ni:-

"Around the world, millions of women live in rural or urban areas ‘where there is no doctor’ or where health care is not affordable. Many women suffer and die needlessly because they lack access to health care and clear, useful information about their health.

This book is written for these women, and for anyone interested in improving women’s health. Using simple language and hundreds of pictures, it provides information about a wide range of women’s health problems. We hope that everyone—girls, women, and health workers—will find it useful, even life-saving. Our goal is to provide this information to as many women as possible, in as many places as possible"

Dekat part ayat "health care is not affordable" tu, I dah tertarik dah. Of course kita x duduk di rural or urban area, tapi sometimes living cost kita yang tinggi ni pun boleh buat kita bankrap. Zaman skrg ni semua nya mahal termasuk penjagaan dan rawatan kesihatan. So bila dia tulis macam tu, I tertarik nak tahu what this book got to offer as an alternative of getting a more affordable treatment and care.

There is another reason why I love this type of read. Selepas I miscarried hari tu, I dpt macam2 masalah kewanitaan & setiap kali I pergi klinik swasta & berjumpa doktor, I find it very hard to explain myself to the doctor on what actually happens. Doktor swasta kadang-kala x pasti apa sakit yang kita alami & kalau dpt doktor lelaki, lagi lah dia predict yang lain dari sakit yang sebenar. Sebab dia x dpt tengok & check Miss V kita. Once, I even met with a lady doctor who even had a look at my Miss V tapi still couldnt figure out what happened & ended up predicted wrongly.

I straight-away pergi hospital kerajaan, 1x tengok atau explain sikit je, terus Doctor tu faham & diagnosed correctly. Kalau I x pergi hospital, I dont know what will happen to me. But the problem is, nak pergi hospital bukan senang. Satu, dia jauh. Satu lagi, dia ramai org & ambil masa yang lama utk jumpa doctor, & kena apply cuti dan sebagainya.

That's why in my opinion it's best we know some knowledge supaya kita tahu what's going on with our body.

Jom kita tengok apa ada dalam buku ni:-

The Croods ~ Terbaik!!!

Last Saturday, macam biasa lah, me & hubby's usual outing at night was going out for a movie. Hari Sabtu lah hari yang paling di nanti-nantikan every week sbb I love going out with hubby sooo much ^_^

At first I wanted to watch "The Host" or "Olympus has fallen", but Hubby opted for "The Croods". My friends cakap cerita tu mmg best gila, so I said, why not? As long as dapat tengok wayang dengan hubby dah happy sgt dah ^___^ So, earlier that day hubby bought the ticket via online..senang je, sampai dkt counter nanti just give the booking number & ta-daa, they all akan bagi the ticket, sangat hassle-free.. Lepas tu he sms me the booking number, I was very surprised sbb ingat x jadi tengok wayang that night. Sbb mula2 pun dia cakap dia tak nak keluar, prefer duduk rumah. Macam2 hubby I ni. Buat surprise last minute. Of course happy Lah aku :-P

The movie started at 10.15pm but we were still queuing up at the pop corn counter, hahaha... Sampai kena marah Encik hubby dengan I sbb degil sgt nak beli pop corn although movie dah nak start.

Lucky for us, when we finally got our pop corns & entered our cinema, the movie havent started yet & masih tengah iklan.

The croods, dari awal sampai habis mmg best sangat. Here are the synopsis:-

"The Croods tells the story of the world's first family road trip. When their cave is destroyed, the Crood family must embark on a comedy adventure into strange and spectacular territory in search of a new home. As if patriarch Grug (Cage) didn't already have enough to handle, it goes from bad to worse when they encounter an imaginative nomad named Guy (Reynolds.) With Guy's help the Croods conquer their fear of the outside world and discover that they have exactly what it takes to survive - each other.(c) Paramount" - source: http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/the-croods/

Cerita ni mengimbas kembali zaman orang gua, so we are presented with "The Croods" family who were one of those cave men masa tu. Starting cerita, dia tunjuk how "The Croods" memburu utk mendapatkan makanan. It was so funny how all of them chased a bird's egg semata2 utk makan bersama2. It was such a survival episode. Lepas gua mereka di musnahkan oleh natural disaster, they fight to find a new home & discover new hope during the journey. Mmg kelakar sgt isi2 dalam cerita tu, full of comedy. Banyak parts yang I ketawa non-stop & ada parts yang I shed tears. Hubby cakap I tengok cerita cartun mana pun akan nangis kalau ada sad parts. Lol...

I highly recommend this movie to all of you yang suka comedy, boleh juga bawa anak2.. Macam kami, kami bawak anak2 tekak kami, so ketawa lah bagai nak rak guna anak tekak masing2. Hahaha.. ok, it aint funny tasha.. :-P

Voices behind this movie characters pun famous2.

For example, The voice for Grug was Nicholas Cage:-

And the voice for Eep was Emma Stone:-

Emma Stone punya muka x terang in this picture. This one better:-

Kenal kan? ;-) The modern Spiderman's gf :-P

Also ada Ryan Reynolds, whose voice was used for Guy character in this movie:-

Character yang I paling suka dalam "The Croods" ni is Belt The Sloth:-

 Comel gila Belt ni...... ^_________^

And Chunky the Tiger. At one part dia buat muka comel dia, mmg comel gila. Dia ni garang and asek nk makan "The Croods" je tapi in the end jadi pet kepada Grug. Hehehe...

The best part is, the sound track "OST" for this movie is sang by our very own Yuna.

Yuna & Owl City to be exact. They sang "Shine your way" together & this song is the official OST for this movie. Our very own YUNA. Proud of her for bringing up Malaysia's name di persada dunia.

"Shine Your way", Owl City ft Yuna, The Croods OST.

2 Thumbs up! Jgn lupa tengok yer kawan2... ^_____^
